Ways Of Working Together
Cognitive Hypnotherapy
Dismantling the unconscious patterns that hold your problems in place, creating opportunities for positive behavioural change and sustainable solutions.
Incorr Method
A deep way of working with the root cause of primary pain. This approach maps the unique ways we hold trauma patterns within the body, and how the mind functions to keep these in place. It is a gentle process that guides you toward profound healing.
Coaching
Offers a forward-facing, solution based way of working. Together, we will develop the skills and mindset needed for you to move confidently toward the future you deserve.
My Journey
I grew up in a small, beautiful seaside town in South Wales before heading to the bright lights of London over 25 years ago to train at drama school in pursuit of fame and success. As you can probably tell, that plan didn’t quite go as expected!
Instead, I built a rewarding career in hospitality, spending many years in the industry, including almost a decade as a General Manager. During that time, I had the privilege of working alongside some of the industry’s most respected restaurateurs, where I led and mentored large teams, helping people grow, develop and reach their full potential.
People have always been at the heart of everything I do. Nothing has been more rewarding than seeing those I worked alongside grow in confidence, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential—both professionally and personally.
Like many people in hospitality, I became accustomed to working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments where stress was simply part of the job. For years, I accepted that as normal. But by 2018, I realised I was heading towards burnout. It was time to take a step back and reassess where I was going and what I truly wanted to do.
I had spent many years struggling with patterns of behaviour that simply weren’t serving me. Despite my best efforts, I found myself repeating the same cycles and, for a long time, I couldn’t see a way out. Experiencing that journey myself has given me a deep understanding of what it feels like to be stuck, and it is one of the reasons I am so passionate about helping others break free from the patterns that hold them back.
In 2019, I enrolled at The Quest Institute, where I studied Cognitive Hypnotherapy under its founder, Trevor Silvester. It was the best decision I could have made, and I am truly grateful for it—it changed my life and transformed both my career and my perspective on what is possible when we understand ourselves on a deeper level.
My passion for helping people has continued to evolve, and more recently I have expanded my training by studying with Shauna Quigley, founder of the Inncorr Method. This is a deep and powerful approach that helps uncover and work with the root causes of trauma patterns that can keep us stuck and prevent lasting change.
The Inncorr Method is particularly valuable for people who feel they have already “done the work”—perhaps through therapy, coaching or personal development—but still find themselves returning to the same thoughts, behaviours or emotional patterns. If you have ever wondered why you continue to loop back into old patterns despite your best efforts, this deeper work can help uncover what is really driving those behaviours.
After many years of living and working in London, I have now returned to the seaside—a place that has always held a very special place in my heart. Being close to the sea has given me the opportunity to reconnect with myself, slow down, and create a life that feels more aligned with the values that have always mattered to me.
Today, my mission is simple: to help people create the lives they truly deserve. Throughout life, we all collect experiences, beliefs and emotional baggage that can shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. But we don’t have to carry those things forever.
No two people are the same, which is why no two sessions are the same. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I draw from the different modalities I work with—including Cognitive Hypnotherapy and the Inncorr Method—to create a unique approach tailored specifically to each client’s individual needs, experiences and goals.
My aim isn’t simply to help you cope with life’s challenges—it is to help you understand why you have been held back, release the patterns that no longer serve you, and reconnect with the person you truly are.
Together, we will work towards creating meaningful and lasting change, giving you the freedom, confidence and tools to move forward and become the you that perhaps you’d forgotten you could be.
Why Cognitive Hypnotherapy?
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a modern and evidence- based approach to therapy that works towards lasting solutions.
Quest is the only hypnotherapy organisation and training school that has evidence-based research specific to their approach to therapy. Whose inhouse-funded research project is listed with NICE in their research area.
We are not afraid to test the effectiveness of our therapy. We encourage a growth mindset in our clients and in our therapists.
Many hypnotherapy organisations pedal “evidence-based hypnotherapy” as a term that is either piggy-backing general research into the effectiveness of hypnosis, that is not specific to their own approach to therapy or they incorporate CBT as part of their approach and base their claims on CBT research results, again not their own specific approach.
Quest Institute’s therapy research was conducted by a team of QCHPA members using outcome measures that are standard within the NHS. It demonstrated our effectiveness (71%) for treatment of anxiety and depression is greater, compared with other talk therapies such as CBT 42% used within the NHS.
